Subject: RE: Eris and arts

Message Detail:

the biggest cultural phenomenon of the past kazillion years began on Oct 18, 1926 with Eris fresh in Aries and the birth of Chuck Berry, father of Rock'n Roll, the music which has been rattling the walls of Eris' transit through Aries all these years. John Lennon said that you might as well call Rock'n Roll "Chuck Berry".He wrote the first and the best Rock songs.

T.S. Eliot was another Libran artist whose work can be viewed through the newfound Erisian lens. "Let us go then you and I, to where the evening is spread out against the sky, like a patient etherised upon a table..." "The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock" shocked and offended many critics of the day and helped bring modern poetry up from the dross of the Victorian Era mindset. Soon after Eris entered Aries T.S.E moved to England and became an Anglican.

The Domesday Book was written near the time of Eris' ingress to Cancer about 1088 CE. Martin Luther's German translation of the Greek New Testament in 1522 coincided with Eris' entrance into Taurus.

It will be interesting to study Eris in our charts and work on comparing it to and distinguishing it from Venutian influences. i'm wondering if Venus might represent "matrix" (from Latin root for "mother") while Eris might represent "pattern" (from Latin root for "father")
